The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year  2024-25 was held  at the college quadrangle .This event marks the official appointment of the Student Council for the current academic year, a significant tradition that symbolizes the handing over of responsibility and leadership to the new student body leaders. The ceremony aimed to encourage leadership, responsibility, and accountability among the newly elected council members. The ceremony was witnessed by MDES Secretary, Rev Edward William saldhana, the correspondent Rev Fr. Naveen kumar and Mr. seby mavely, CEO, MDES with our honorable principal Dr. Prithvi S Shirahatti. The primary objective of the ceremony was to instill a sense of duty and responsibility in the newly elected student leaders and to formally induct them into their respective roles. It emphasized the importance of student leadership in enhancing the college’s ethos and fostering a culture of discipline and service.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome, followed by an invocation prayer, setting a solemn and respectful tone for the proceedings. Head of Institution delivered the opening address, the chief guest highlighted the importance of leadership and encouraging the newly elected student council members to lead by example. The highlight of the ceremony was the formal oath-taking. Following the oath, the newly appointed council members were adorned with their badges of office, symbolizing their roles and responsibilities.
