They play a crucial role in nurturing learning and knowledge acquisition by offering a wide range of materials such as books, magazines, newspapers, CDs, and more. One of the most significant advantages of libraries is their affordability. They offer access to a vast array of information and learning tools without the need for individuals to purchase them individually. This makes libraries an economical and environmentally friendly alternative, as it reduces the demand for new materials and promotes the reuse and sharing of existing resources

The library serves as a hub for the community, fostering a sense of belonging and togetherness. It provides a safe space for people to share their thoughts, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations. It also offers support and resources for local authors and artists, helping them showcase their work and connect with their audience.

The mission of our library and information centre is to facilitate access to valuable information, foster literacy, and encourage continuous learning throughout one’s life. The library serves as a niche for knowledge-hungry aspirants, bridging the gap between individuals and the vast world of information. By promoting literacy and lifelong learning, they empower communities and contribute to the overall development and growth of society.

Automated Library

Library uses Koha Software-Integrated Automation Software, which supports in-house operations of library such as acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, Database is updated daily. Smart circulation system is used successfully via Bar-code technology for all the Students and Teachers cards.

Monday to Friday :- 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday:- 9:30 – 1:00 PM Circulation:- 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM Note: The library is closed on Sundays and holidays declared by the institute

Rules and Regulations

  • Every user on entering the library should sign in the register. 
  • Reading materials including notebooks, personal textbooks will be allowed inside the general reading room only.
  • Every user are not allowed to bring their personal things Bags, cases, folders etc. must be left in the property counter.
  • Silence & discipline should be maintained in the Library. On repeated misbehaviour after warning the student Library facility would be cancelled.
  • Students’ Institute Identity Card is necessary for access to the library and information centre.
  • The users shall maintain silence within the library premises. 
  • Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
  • Library authority upholds the right to recall any issued book even before the due date.
  • Eatables are not allowed inside the Library.
  • The books should not have underlining &writing which is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not exchange the arrangements of the books in the Library.
  • The books have to be returned within the due date, else a fine of Rs.5/- per day will be levied.
  • Borrowers are to produce their ID card when borrowing resource materials.
  • In case of loss are damage of books, the borrower is required to replace the book either of the same edition or the latest edition second-hand or used books are not accepted.
